Adoptable Dogs In Need of Love & Exposure

There are two adoptable dogs at the BIDEAWEE Animal Shelter in New York, where I volunteer, that are waiting for someone to love them and give them a loving home.  Pace and Gracie are not as easy to find homes for as some of the other adoptable dogs at the shelter, for a couple of reasons. They both need some extra help and exposure to find their forever homes.

Two Shirts Morph into a Fancy DIY Dog Skirt

The BlogPaws Conference was coming up fast, and I wanted to walk the Red Carpet with Icy and Phoebe at the Nose to Nose Awards dinner.  I had an adorable dress for Phoebe, but I could not find anything dressy that would fit Icy with her big 50lb. long body!  Time was running out, so I got a little creative.

When Should Your Pet See The Veterinarian?

Your pet may be a puppy or kitten, or perhaps you've just adopted an adult dog or cat.  If your pet isn't sick or injured, when should you take them in to see the Veterinarian?  It's not always easy to know when or how often you should vaccinate your pets or take them to the Vet for physical examinations.  PETCO has shared a helpful Info-Graphic to use for reference!

New Mexico is such a beautiful and diverse state.  You've got artsy Santa Fe to the North, quirky fun Roswell to the South, and culturally rich Albuquerque in between.  New Mexico is nicknamed "Land of Enchantment" because of it's stunning beauty and rich history.  There's so much to see and do in this lovely, dog friendly state!

Summer Will Soon Be Over

WE CANNOT BELIEVE THAT SUMMER IS JUST ABOUT OVER!  IS IT REALLY MID-AUGUST OR ARE GREMLINS MESSING WITH OUR CALENDAR??


Mom grows tomatoes and lots of flowers!  The veggies are all grown organically; no pesticides & only organic fertilizers


I GUESS FALL IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER AND THAT MEANS OUR DAYS OF PUTTERING IN THE GARDEN AND PLAYING ON THE BEACH WILL SOON BE OVER.
